Kirstin's first appeal hearing, scheduled for January 13, 2004, has been canceled. Nevada Supreme Court Justice Myron Leavitt has passed away. Our condolences are with the Leavitt family during this difficult time. We will post the new hearing date as soon as it is rescheduled.

The Justice4Kirstin team has been interviewed by two separate radio programs about Kirstin's case. The first was "The Joy of Resistance" on NYC station WBAI, 99.5 FM. Most recently, two members appeared on a show broadcast in West Palm Beach, FL.

Team members Michelle and Helen had a table and gave a speech about Kirstin at the Under Our Wings National Conference on Juvenile Justice from December 8-10, 2003. They met numerous wonderful people, and would like to thank those they met for taking the time to listen. Jotaka Eaddy from the National Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty was present and led a very moving chant focused on Kirstin.

A wonderful designer and activist, Tina Coggins, has created designs for t-shirts and bumper stickers that are now available from the site here. All of the profits collected from this effort will go to Kirstin's Legal Defense Fund.
